Retail Pharmacist

Perform all duties required by law in the dispensing of prescriptions. This includes SNF prescriptions. Supervises all ancillary personnel while on duty. Counsels’ patients and /or customers as required. 1-2 days per week consisting of 10 hours per day. Hours will include Saturdays and or Sundays. Retail Pharmacy Only.

Responsible for ensuring that billing is correct and oversees clerks and technicians in billing as needed. Interprets, clarifies, and fills prescription orders with no errors. Maintains all records including controlled drugs, inventory, and prescriptions. Ensure proper documentation as required by local, state, and Federal regulations. Supervises pharmacy technicians and clerks and coordinates workflow. Is willing and able to assist the PIC in onboarding new services to the community and is not afraid of a challenge. Other tasks and duties may be assigned as needed.

Current and valid California Pharmacy License. BS in Pharmacy, Pharm D preferred. Excellent communication skills in both oral and writing. Strong attention to detail. Multitasking and ability to prioritize work. Good organizational skills. Has integrity, compassion, and empathy. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and, essentially, PrimeCare (QS1) would be a plus point.
