Job Title: Systems Technician
Status: Full-time
Qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent. Minimum two (2) years’ experience in computer operations/support required. CompTIA A+ certification may be substituted for acceptable knowledge and experience. Demonstrates advanced knowledge and use of Microsoft Windows desktop operating systems and productivity applications. Also has intermediate knowledge of Linux based operating systems. The Systems Technician provides technical support to users by expediting, assigning, or completing requests for support through emails, telephone calls, and our IS Ticketing System. Responsible for administration and support over Kern Valley Healthcare District’s computer systems and/or network components as directed by the Information Systems Manager. Also performs routine hardware/software/network audits and maintains inventory records of all IS equipment. Must have excellent interpersonal skills and interface professionally, tactfully and respectfully with staff and the general public. Excellent computer skills required.
