Finance; Payroll Clerk Full-time

Qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent. Minimum six months experience in clerical accounting required, including knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles. Associates Degree in Accounting or Business Administration and experience in payroll services preferred. Utilizing various types of software programs and computer systems, the Payroll Clerk is responsible for updating and maintaining payroll records, including personnel data, pay rates, withholding amounts, and other information as necessary. Along with verifying benefit eligibility and calculating vacation, sick leave, and holiday pay. The Payroll Clerk is responsible for preparing various reports including FTE analysis, labor statistics, quarterly and annual tax returns, and quarterly earnings, along with other duties as assigned by Controller or Chief Financial Officer. Must work professionally, tactfully and respectfully with a variety of people. Participates in the department’s performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities. Perform other duties as assigned. Must be able to read, write and understand English. Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other MS Office and computer programs. Good computer skills required.
