Lake Isabella, California August 19, 2021 – Due to an increased risk of COVID-19 and The State Public Health Department’s specific guidelines for visitation and entry into the facility. We are temporarily altering our visitation policy for the hospital and skilled nursing facility. All visitors are required to call the nurse’s desk for an appointment and visiting hours are limited between 9:00 am to 11:00 am and 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. All visitors will have to follow the additional instructions below.
In addition to the pre-screening questionnaire and temperature documentation, we are required to verify the vaccination status of all persons entering the facility. Those who have been vaccinated will need to show proof of vaccination. Those individuals who have not yet been vaccinated are required to have a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours of your intended visit. Please visit or call your primary care provider to ask for a COVID-19 Rapid Antigen test. This will meet the requirements as set forth by the health department.
Keep in mind the front lobby will be closed beginning Monday, August 23, 2021. Anyone entering our facility will be required to go through the glass doors where the blood draw station is. Our Emergency Department is no longer allowing visitation, with the exception of one parent for minors. Special circumstances with respect to disease process (i.e. imminent death, behavioral health needs, etc.)
We realize this will be an inconvenience; however, it is the only way to provide a safe environment for your loved ones and the staff of the facility.
