Pharmacist

Department: Pharmacy (Hospital/Retail)

Status: Per-Diem/Part-Time

Qualifications: Must have current California Pharmacy License, BS in Pharmacy, Pharm D preferred. Experience in retail and hospital pharmacies is preferred, but an exceptional new licensee will be considered. Long Term Care pharmacy experience is a plus. Will assist with monthly SNF drug regimen reviews. This position will require a weekend shift and on-call coverage for the hospital pharmacy on some weekdays and/or weekends. Performs all duties required by law in the dispensing of prescriptions and is familiar with unit dose. Must be familiar with all pharmacy guidelines and regulations. A frequently fast-paced environment requires the ability to handle stress. Must be able to effectively communicate in English; both verbal and written. Must have good interpersonal skills and interface professionally, tactfully, and respectfully with patients, residents, staff, the general public, and governmental agencies. Good computer skills required.
