Description
Responsible for providing cardiopulmonary care services in accordance with specific physician’s orders, department policies and procedures.

Qualifications
Graduate from an AMA approved school of Respiratory Therapy, with current California Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) and Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT & CRT) licensure. Three years previous experience in all aspects of cardiopulmonary services preferred, but may consider exceptional new graduate. Must have current BLS and ACLS certificates, with PALS certificate required within 60-days of hire. Trauma Life Support (ATLS) preferred. Must be able to utilize applicable respiratory equipment and perform chest PT. Must be able to effectively communicate in English; both verbal and written. Must have good interpersonal skills and interface professionally, tactfully and respectfully with patients, staff and the general public. Basic computer skills required.
